Open Studio during Advent
On the first weekend in Advent the studio will be open on both the Saturday and Sunday. All works, prints, broadsides and books, new and from the backlist, will be on show. Come in and browse all the shelves, tables and displays and select the very special Christmas presents for your very special friends and loved ones.

Saturday 29 November 2025 from 1pm to 7pm
Sunday 30 November 2025 from 1pm to 7pm
Up front I‘ll give a guided tour round the studio including the pressroom on the Friday 28 November from 4:30pm to 6:30pm as a special sort of preview. While showing you round my workplace I‘ll tell you how I work and how my works of art come into existence. The tour is with the Volkshochschule Lübbecker Land and you will have to book with vhs first, places are limited, there is a fee of Euro 12. Booking and all details at vhs Lübbecker Land
Also, on the Saturday there will be our local Christmas market in Oppenwehe around what is known locally as the Klus, a small rebuilt version of the village church that used to stand in exactly this place. The event will come with a program for families and kids and a number of stands. In previous years there was a nativity play, Santa popped by and our local trombone players presented their choice of Christmas carols. The event will start on the Saturday on 4pm. Hello Marianne, thanks for your good wishes! Yes, it would be so lovely to catch up again. However, you’d need to cover such an awful lot of miles … and you can enjoy spring time in your garden instead, which is a treat, I’m sure!
