We live in times in which it has become increasingly difficult to tell a truth from a lie and vice versa. We live in „fake-news“-times. We are told stories that are told only to distract us, to make us focus on something while something else is done without us noticing. So this is the print of the time being: a Red Herring.
It is burnished from two blocks of lino, one is an etching one is cut. The paper used is an old-style white quality with a structure resembling a linen fabric, almost like a table cloth, only it is still paper. The print is a landscape format of 40x35cm. It is a limited edition of 24 signed and numbered copies, printed in 2018.
