Summer Exhibition at The Fork and Broom Press

The first weekend in July is the date of the summer exhibition at „The Fork and Broom Press“ in Oppenwehe. Art work by printmaker artist Annette C. Dißlin, prints as well as books., will be on show in the old barn nextdoor. The barn will, again, turn itself into that charming gallery space welcoming visitors for taking a break.

Who so far has not had the opportunity to take a look at „Schmausbuch Nummer 2“, the book celebrating the studio‘s 25th anniversary, can now take their time turning the pages. The book presents some 12 recipes all connected to places the artist has been staying and experiences she has made. The recipes‘ ingredients are fruit and vegetables that can easily be homegrown. The book is part of the series „Giving Diversity a Home!“.

It is good tradition at the studio‘s summer exhibition that there is something special on the tables every year. This year it is a remnant sale of cuttings from materials used in the art work: lovely papers, sturdy cardboards, charming farbic. A treasure trove for those being into creative working.

Printmaking studio „The Fork and Broom Press“ is LandArt-Station 5.16 in Mühlenkreis and located along L-road 765 which connects Rahden and Lemförde. Parking space is in the yard of the old farm, for bicycles there is even a roofed space. The barn is right next to the studio and in most parts wheelchair-accessible.
