The Fork and Broom Press

The „BuchDruckKunst“ fair runs from 1 to 3 April this year. As always during fair times the museum‘s dedicated volunteers show how work is done on the old printing presses and visitors will be able to see how lithography, intaglio and letterpress techniques work. Type casting and paper making are on show, too.

Some 60 exhibitors on two floors of what is called the „Alte Fabrik“ will put their works on show and there will be a rich choice of printmaking works, artist‘s books, calligraphy – in limited editions or as one-offs, or even as sculptural work.

The fair is open:
Friday 1 April 5pm to 9pm
Saturday 2 April 10 am to 6 pm
Sunday 3 April 10 am to 5 pm

Museum der Arbeit is just off Barmbek-Station and easy to get to by underground.
