First Open Studio
We’ll be open for the first time at the new place from 31 March to 2 April
Here is the schedule of the opening weekend:
Friday 31 March
Get together 18 to 21 hrs
Saturday 1 April
Open Studio from 11 hrs to 20 hrs
visitors can watch the artist working between 13 hrs and 18 hrs
Sunday 2 April
Open Studio from 11 hrs to 17 hrs
visitors can watch the artist working between 13 hrs and 16 hrs
I’ll be showing how I work as a book artist. This might include binding on the sewing frame or printing on the proofing press or setting metal type by hand – be curious!
The studio’s opening is part of the European Days of Arts & Craft – an event that has started in France in 2002. The idea is to show the huge variety and innovative potential of artists and crafts people in Europe. I’m a member of the German Crafts Organisation (Bundesverband Kunsthandwerk) who has been collecting the data of all artists and studios participating in this year’s event in Germany.
